A handy compact digital camera that just oooozes style. Take a look at what the Fuji Finepix Z100fd has to offer.

what are some digital compact cameras with very fast shutter speed?

I have two CF cards for my Canon D60. Both are Lexar 1GB 80X cards. Both allow me to take approx 250 shots. Well, they DID, anyway. Now only one of them will. The other one will let me take all the way up to #88, then when I try to take #89, the card takes forever to write, then it gives me a "corrupted data" message. It always happens on photo #89.

I’ve tried reformatting the card using Lexar ImageRescue, but it does no good. It still freezes up at photo #89. If I erase the card, then put it in our other digital camera (which is a lower megapixel camera), it freezes up at photo #145 or #146…always.

What’s going on? Do I need to trash it, or can it be fixed?

I’ve noticed that Kodak has some pocket digital cameras with 10x, but it seems none of the major retailers, Best Buy, Office Depot, Staples etc., do not carry these Kodak models. Is there a problem with them?

I want one with a good optical zoom at least 10X and around 300 dollars..

Can anybody help me?

I am looking for great picture quality and at least 5x OPTICAL zoom in a compact digital camera.

I have always owned canons which are great, but they don’t offer a good zoom in a compact size.

I am unsure of which other cameras to trust for great picture quality.

Nikon? Sony? Panasonic? Which is best and what model camera?

I like sonys but I dont like the memory card instead of the SD card.

Which would you think would perform the best (for a compact digital) in low light conditions?

Anything will help!!! Thanks!!!
FYI : OPTICAL zoom is the good zoom….DIGITAL zoom is the shitty zoom!!!

Im usually the assigned photographer at our personal gatherings, so I usually take a couple hundred pictures per gathering.

The camera will be for personal use only, but I would still like it to:
-Take good sharp pictures (good focus, not blurry)
-Have a good flash for night pictures
-Have a big LCD screen.
-Be durable, as I use it often and take thousands of pictures.
-Be compact
-Has a good battery life and uses a rechargeable battery (not AA or AAA batteries)

Last camera I had was the Pink Nikon Coolpix S9, but within weeks all of the buttons and menus stopped working, and since I didn’t have a warranty on it I couldn’t get it fixed, unless i paid 5.

I know Im being very specific on the preferences, but I want a camera that is worth the money.

Thanks for any suggestions or reviews on any camera you think would work for me.
